On April 28, the Taiwan Foreign Correspondents’ Club held its 2nd Annual General Meeting since its registration as a national civic association in Taiwan in 2025. Members elected a new Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors and approved an amendment to the club’s charter.
At the first joint meeting of the two boards, the newly elected directors elected Nikkei Asia correspondent Thompson Chau as Chair and freelance journalist David Demes as Vice Chair. Former TFCC Vice President Chris Horton was elected Standing Supervisor.
