On July 11th (Thursday), the Taiwan Foreign Correspondents’ Club will host a panel discussion titled “Chaos at the Legislature: Reform or Power Grab?”.
Last month, Taiwan’s opposition parties rejected the government’s request to reconsider their ambitious plans to expand the legislature’s powers. This move sets the stage for a potential clash with the judiciary and parts of the civil society.

Rules: This panel will be conducted in English and Chinese (simultaneous interpretation will be provided)
