On April 2nd, TFCC and National Taiwan University’s Graduate Institute of Journalism co-hosted a panel discussion among Taiwanese and foreign journalists examining the next few years for Taiwan under a new president and legislature and how foreign media outlets are covering the country amid a shifting international political landscape. In her keynote speech, Baroness D’Souza called on the next UK government to formally recognize Taiwan as an independent country.
